“DiverCity” Social-Cultural, Humanitarian NGO during October 2019 – January 2020 hosted a three-month project called “Diverse Society”. The aim of the project “Diverse Society” is to improve the lack of information and to increase the awareness of LGBTQ+ for the community and the youth, and to promote the diversity in culture.
To reset strong solidarity in the community toward the other communities. To promote the transformation of the conflicts into the process of peacemaking, taking into account the diversity of ideas and opinions on different aspects of life and about people.
The problems of the project are
To increase the awareness of a case by setting healthy relationships between different groups of the community. It’s important to achieve solidarity of the members in community toward the trans, queer, lesbian and gay, and other people with sexual orientation and gender identity (SOGI) or any different appearance, to stop the speeding of the misinformation on the case, to transform phobias into process of love toward these communities and setting analytical decision-making process on the case.
The seminar that will take place in the frames of “Diverse Society” project’s considered as an essential on the matters raised above.
We offer to increase the awareness of the different communities on the diversity of society and people and their right to choose their own self-identity.
The expectations
We also expect to create a dialogue on these issues in different fields of life, for example in the field of education, culture, media, etc.
