On July 23, 2019, the “Eco DiverCity” educational and youth initiative, together with the “HexaSquad” youth initiative group, initiated a peaceful demonstration with the demand “We are against the slaughter of animals”. The demonstration was joined by a number of other animal lovers and environmentalists. During the peaceful protest, the participants visited the National Assembly, Yerevan City Hall, and also met Mr. Begoyan, the director of the “Animal Sterilization Center”.
The initiative published a press release (only in Armenian) about the organization of the peaceful demonstration on July 20th.
